• This truck was restored in 2017 by Arizona-based LiL BiT’s Vintage Speed Garage, according to the selling dealer. Its factory-fitted engine and transmission were reportedly replaced by a General Motors-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 and a 4-speed automatic transmission during the restoration.
• A partial list of notable currently installed equipment reported by the selling dealer includes a 3-inch exhaust system, 4:56-ratio CUCV military 1-ton front and rear axles, power steering, Hummer H1-sourced 16.5-inch wheels, AMP Research power-folding side steps, oak flooring in the bed, and a Bluetooth-compatible head unit.
• Launched for 1946, the Dodge Power Wagon was developed to tackle the toughest jobs. It was related to the WC Series that Dodge built during World War II, and it offered heavy-duty hardware such as part-time four-wheel-drive and a one-ton capacity. Civilian models were often used as tow trucks, while the model stood out as one of the most versatile vehicles in the United States Army’s fleet. The Power Wagon went through several updates during its long production run.
• Power comes from a 6.2-liter V8. The seller pegs its output at about 480 horsepower, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear or the four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
