• Modifications to this 4Runner are extensive and highlights include a ToyTec lift kit with 3-inch 650 lbs Red front springs and 3.75-inch SuperFlex rear springs, an ARB front bumper, ARB Safari snorkel, ARB differential breather, Warn VR8000 winch, Tundra-sized front PowerStop drilled and slotted disc brake rotors, and many poly bushings.
• Factory equipment includes a center locking differential, sunroof, roof rack, chrome rear bumper, rear wind deflector, powered windows and locks, powered roll-down rear window, powered side-view mirrors, rear heater, 12V outlets, air conditioning, and cruise control.
• Launched for 1996, the third-generation Toyota 4Runner arrived as the popularity of SUVs ballooned across America. It shared its basic proportions with its predecessor but it was new from the ground up and slightly longer. It shared its V6 engine with the first-generation Tacoma and Tundra trucks.
• Power comes from a 3.4-liter V6, rated at 183 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a part-time 2-speed transfer case.
