The wheelbase was extended by 3.2 inches, and the body grew wider by 4.6 inches, while the chassis was designed by Bob Negstad, the man behind the original chassis for the Cobra and Ford GT40. The Superformance Daytona Coupe, or Brock Coupe as it was originally known, remains the only of its kind that’s licensed by Shelby.
