The 997 further modernized the water-cooled 911 with styling inside and out that borrowed classic Porsche design cues while looking decidedly modern.
This Porsche is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine, which produces 480 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. Designed by famous Porsche engineer Hans Mezger, this flat-6 is derived from the Porsche GT1 race car’s engine architecture, and is renowned for its robust nature and excellent performance.
