2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible

This Shelby GT500 is a handsome car finished in a nice color scheme – black with striking red racing stripes down the center. It’s a limited-production car, with a numbered certificate of authenticity, and it touts an accident-free history report. Mostly, though, it has big power: the supercharged V8 makes 540 horses and over 500 pound-feet of torque, and it’s controlled with a 6-speed manual transmission.

According to the Shelby certificate of authenticity shown in the photo gallery, this GT500 is number 226 of 906 GT500 convertibles and number 62 of 261 models painted black.
According to the window sticker pictured in the photo gallery, factory equipment on this GT500 includes an SVT-tuned suspension, limited-slip differential, Brembo front brakes, a Shaker 1000 audio system, and more. Modifications are limited to window tint.
The Shelby GT500 variant of the “S197” generation of the Ford Mustang included upgrades over the GT model like a supercharged V8 engine, a unique aesthetic, and durability enhancements. Most GT500 models of this era were coupes, but this is the less common convertible version.
The GT500 got an update for the 2010 model year that resulted in 40 more horsepower, 30 more lb-ft of torque, styling enhancements, and better fuel economy compared to its predecessor.
Power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC “Modular” V8 engine, which produces 540 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. It powers the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
