• The window sticker shown in the gallery notes this Wrangler cost $41,220 new. It’s equipped with the Dual Top Group, skid plates, a trailer hitch, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a remote engine starter, and a hill descent control function, among other features.
• Modifications reported by the seller include a Superchips FlashPaq performance tuner, G2 4.11 gears in the differentials, 17-inch AEV Pintler wheels wrapped by 34-inch Cooper tires, a 2.5-inch suspension lift, AEV bumpers on both ends, Go Rhino D6 Dominator side steps, Drake Off Road metal shift knobs, side racks in the trunk, and a 6.4-inch Sony touchscreen. • Service records and entries in the Carfax history report detail most of the repairs and maintenance performed on this Wrangler since it was new. The left cylinder head and related hardware were notably replaced at 101,649 miles in March 2021.
• Called “JK” internally, the third-generation Wrangler arrived for 2007 with a wider track, V6 power (instead of its predecessor’s straight-6), and an updated interior designed to provide more on-road comfort. It was also the first Wrangler offered with four doors from the factory. Production ended in 2018.
• Power comes from a “Pentastar” 3.6-liter V6, rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The aforementioned tune might increase those figures, but a dyno sheet is not available. It spins the rear or the 4 wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission, a 2-speed transfer case, and Jeep’s shift-on-the-fly Command-Trac four-wheel-drive system.
