2020 Ford Mustang GT Carroll Shelby Signature Series Convertible

This is really, really cool! It’s one of only 50 Carroll Shelby Signature Series Mustang GTs built by Shelby American, and it boasts a supercharged Coyote V8 with an outrageous 825 horsepower! It also touts a host of other Shelby performance enhancements to the engine, suspension, and brakes, and it features unique exterior and interior trim – plus it looks especially sinister in triple black with matte black stripes! Another benefit is that it’s a convertible model, which will really let the driver hear the snarl of the Borla exhaust.

This Mustang GT is 1 of just 50 cars in the US to receive the Shelby Signature Edition Package from Shelby American. This package added multiple performance modifications, including a polished Shelby supercharger, Shelby Performance tune, high-performance fuel injectors, aluminum heat exchanger, Shelby-tuned Borla variable exhaust, a Brembo braking system, and more listed below. The package also includes unique interior and exterior details. With the addition of this $76,695 Signature Edition package, the total MSRP of this Mustang was $136,845.
The sixth-generation Ford Mustang arrived for the 2015 model year with a new independent rear suspension and a wide range of models. A mid-cycle update for 2018 brought more power and a 10-speed automatic transmission. In Mustang-speak, GT has long meant V8 power, and the latest model uses the automaker’s Coyote V8.
Power comes from a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, which Shelby rates at 825 horsepower. No torque figure is listed, however, the engine likely produces a significant amount more torque than the factory 420 lb-ft rating for a standard Mustang GT. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
