The C8 Corvette is a seriously exciting sports car, boasting head-turning styling and incredible performance. This particular example is a 2021 model that touts less than 5,000 miles – and it includes some fantastic options like the Z51 Performance Package, Magnetic Selective Ride suspension, and lots of carbon fiber. The window sticker included in the photo gallery shows this Corvette had an original MSRP of $92,905 including $19,960 in options. Some highlights include the Z51 Performance Package, power-adjustable GT2 seats, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, magnetic selective ride control, an electronic limited-slip differential, front and rear cameras, a removable roof panel, and more.
The seller has modified this modified with a staggered set of Vossen HF-5 wheels, paint protection film in the high-impact areas, and a limited edition Hennessey Performance exhaust.
Released for 2020, the eighth-generation Corvette switched to a mid-mounted engine, a configuration which represented the most drastic change in the nameplate’s decades-long history. Placing the V8 behind the passenger compartment allowed designers to completely reinvent the Corvette’s proportions, while engineers took advantage of the rear-biased weight distribution to dial in sharper handling. The “C8” remains in production as of 2022.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter “LT2” V8, rated at 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this Corvette, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. It spins the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
