The current-generation Sprinter made its debut for the 2019 model year with significant improvements, including an optional 9-speed automatic transmission that improved fuel economy and acceleration, plus a longer list of available technology features added to make driving a big, boxy van as effortless as possible.
Power comes from a 2.0L Turbocharged inline-4, rated at 166 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission.
