The F-150 Lightning is an excellent option if you’re in the market for an electric pickup, and this example ticks a lot of the right boxes. Its odometer displays under 100 miles, so it’s essentially new, it’s finished in an attractive color called Star White Metallic, and it boasts a long list of equipment including the Tow Technology Package, heated and ventilated front seats, AND an 8-speaker B&O sound system. The household-type outlets in the frunk are a cool feature, too – this F-150’s battery pack can power your tools or toys even if you’re well off the beaten path!
2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat, finished in Star White Metallic with a black interior.
The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes that this F-150 cost $71,959 new. Factory equipment includes the Tow Technology Package, 20-inch dark gray alloy wheels, an E-Lock rear axle, LED exterior lighting, a removable power-operated tailgate with a Tailgate Assist function, LED lighting in the cargo box, a trailer hitch, leather upholstery, heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, ambient lighting, a 15.5-inch touchscreen for the SYNC 4A infotainment system, and an 8-speaker B&O sound system. The seller reports no modifications.
Formerly used on a high-performance, V8-powered variant of the F-150, the Lightning nameplate was revived for the 2022 model year for Ford’s first series-produced electric truck. Every member of the line-up offers dual electric motors for through-the-road all-wheel drive, but buyers have two battery packs to choose from and driving range varies accordingly.
Power comes from a pair of electric motors, which draw electricity from a 98-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack to zap the four wheels with 452 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. The EPA gave this version of the F-150 Lightning a maximum driving range rating of 230 miles.
